Last week our speaker was His Excellency William Wong who is a past president of The Rotary Club of The Rotary Club of South-East Nassau.
His Excellency William spoke on the history of the club and told us about some of the projects completed when he was in the club. He also spoke on the success of the club in terms of attendance and fundraising. During his time at the club there was more than enough money raised to fund many projects.
We were told of the ways that Rotary has helped him and he stated that Rotary has taken him places. Rotary has been one of the biggest factors in his life and helped him to grow as a person.
H.E. William thanked the club for being among the first to congratulate him on his appointment as the ambassador to The Kingdom of Morocco.
We also heard of his accomplishments in real estate, at several water companies, in the satellite industry and as an author and writer and his work writing for the Nassau Guardian.
