Our club had the pleasure of hearing DRR Robyn and ADRR Willicia speak last week. DRR Robyn spoke about the importance of membership and valuing our members. DRR Robyn said that commitment and sacrifice was important. She explained the importance of service and bridging borders to work with other clubs to accomplish goals.
Communication was highlighted as an important point and we were encouraged to always communicate with one another. Clubs should check on their members and make sure that they are well. We should also thank our members for their support and celebrate our differences.
ADRR Willicia spoke about our partnerships with other clubs and Rotaractors. She thanked the club for the support she received during her presidency. She spoke of the progress our clubs have made in working with one another and partnering with one another. She also spoke about transitioning from Rotaract to Rotary.
ADRR Willicia highlighted some of the members from Rotaract who made successful transitions into Rotary. She also spoke about the importance of taking care of one another and respecting one another.
DRR Robyn and ADRR Willicia told us about the upcoming Rotaract District Conference which will be held locally. The presentation was stimulating and timely.
