District 7730 (Florida) visited the island of New Providence on November 4, 2016 and with
the assistance of local Rotary Clubs (RCSEN included) made water safety presentations to
young children at the Willard Patton and Sts. Francis & Joseph Schools.

The water safety program is called "Josh the Baby Otter" and was named after a young
boy Josh Collingsworth that died on June 8 th 2008 due to complications from a drowning
incident. With the use of a mascot the program seeks to educate young children with a fun
and simple message: TO STAY AWAY FROM WATER UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY AN
ADULT.

Doug Wolfe, Area 1 Assistant Governor expressed thanks for our hospitality and looks
forward to seeing us in Atlanta this upcoming June.
