As one chapter closes another opens. Let us officially recognize our new head, President Candice Hepburn-Smith.
In our first meeting of the Rotary year we unveiled our 50th anniversary logo, not just to the club but the nation as we enjoyed media coverage.
The newly appointed District Governor Lindsey Cancino joined us and pinned the new board along with Assistant Governor Lionel Haven.
We were able to hear from the new IPP Kent Forbes as well as the new President.
As we celebrated Bahamas Pride Day, the raffle prize was a 53 Independence Tshirt, won by Director Doretha.
Join us today for another round of good talks and great fellowship as we are treated to the presence of some of the club's chartered members as well as several Past Presidents.
You will shortly be receiving your club dues invoice for the year. Please remember that membership dues are payable July 1st.
There has been a small increase explained in the graphic above. While the increase in our dues is limited, you will note the increases in district and Rotary International dues which shrink the portion going to the club. Rotary has indicated a $3.50 increase every other year, so expect increases in our dues to keep pace.
Please contact PP Tim Ingraham (Treasurer) if you have any questions.
