Guest Speaker Spotlight: Erin Storr, Administrator – Cancer Society of The Bahamas

At our recent Rotary Club of South East Nassau lunch meeting, we were honored to welcome Erin Storr, Administrator of the Cancer Society of The Bahamas, as our guest speaker. Erin delivered a heartfelt and inspiring presentation highlighting the Society’s 50-year legacy of compassion, support, and resilience in the fight against cancer.

She shared the incredible journey of the Cancer Society,  with a mission to reduce the burden of cancer on individuals and families across the Bahamas. Over the past five decades, the Society has become a pillar of hope, providing education, early detection initiatives, and patient support services—especially for those receiving treatment in New Providence through the Cancer Caring Centre.

Erin emphasized the importance of partnerships with organizations like Rotary in advancing their mission and encouraged members to continue advocating for cancer awareness and prevention in our communities.
