Last week's speaker was Leslie Fraser, the founder of Bahamas Cheque Services Ltd. It was an enlightening talk centered around the importance of cheques in the Bahamas over the decades. Moving into the phasing out of cheques as mandated by Central Bank of The Bahamas, despite there still being a need.
As expected, some of the younger members can't fathom need for cheques in these modern times.
