Last week The Rotary Club of South East Nassau held their first in-person meeting since the start of the pandemic. The meeting, held at the Nassau Yacht Club was well attended and gave members a chance to socialize in a more personal setting and reconnect with members they have not seen in a while. President Calnan chaired the meeting while both AG Carla and PAG Tim led short presentations. PAG Tim's presentation was centered around the challenges and changes that members faced during the pandemic and the methods used to overcome the challenges. The pandemic was challenging for all and taught us new and innovative ways to communicate and get jobs done using non-traditional methods.
The meeting was a success and a welcomed resumption of face-to-face meetings. The meeting was in a hybrid format and some members that could not make it face-to-face attended simultaneously online. The online option was also well attended.
We encourage you to attend one of our exciting weekly meetings online or at the Nassau Yacht Club on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. As a reminder, anyone attending in person must send their covid vaccination number to Club Secretary Tanishka Parker or present a negative covid test at the Nassau Yacht Club no older than 5 days old at the time of the meeting. Additionally, all members with plans to attend a Wednesday meeting must RSVP by the Monday of the same week. Meeting details for the online meeting can be found on our website at https://www.rcsen.org
