AUGUST 2025 Meeting Schedule

AUGUST 6th, 2025
Meeting Highlights
Last week's meeting started with a continuation of the previous meeting, " A Trip Down Rotary Lane" with Director Azaleta recounting her time in Rotary as she served in various capacities during her 30 year membership.
Our Speaker of the Day was PRIP Barry Rassin, who spoke about the evolution of Rotoract and the importance of bridging the divide between the "older" and "the newbies". For this to happen, it is crucial for everyone to not only have a voice but to respect each other, listen and find common ground. The seasoned Rotarians should provide guidance, while those "newbies" should bring energy and innovation.
Barry also took the time to share with s his book " The Rassin Story". Those in attendance had the opportunity to purchase a signed copy.
This week's raffle winner was none other than Director Davonne. The prize was a $50 gift certificate for the Mall at Marathon.
Welcome Host: Kelly Frendo
