Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities: Mistyann Irving Visits Rotary Club of South East Nassau
At our recent lunch meeting, the Rotary Club of South East Nassau welcomed Mistyann Irving, Executive Director of Lend a Hand Bahamas, as our guest speaker.
Mistyann delivered an inspiring presentation on the theme: "Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities, Building a Brighter Bahamas Together." She shared powerful insights into the work Lend a Hand Bahamas is doing to uplift underserved communities, particularly through education, mentorship, and skills development programs targeted at young Bahamians.
Her message emphasized the critical role of youth engagement in nation-building and how community partnerships, like those between nonprofits and civic organizations such as Rotary, can drive meaningful, sustainable change.
We thank Mistyann for her passionate advocacy and commitment to shaping a brighter future for The Bahamas. Her vision closely aligns with Rotary’s mission of service above self, and we look forward to exploring ways we can support Lend a Hand Bahamas in their continued impact.
