Mr. Farrell Goff., sponsored by PP Lionel Haven is currently an entrepreneur. Mr. Goff's educational background includes a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from Howard University and a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (Project/Construction Management) from Catholic University. Farrell has worked as a Project Manager and Project Coordinator. Also, Farrell was employed as Manager Mobile Portfolio, Manager Fiber to Home & FlowTV (Service Delivery/Technical), and Manager of Technical Operations-Customer Experience for two of the leading telecommunications firms in the Bahamas.

Recap: August 10th, 2024 - South East Nassau Rotarians and South East Nassau Centennial Rotaractors joined forces again this past weekend to continue the work of updating the school's library in preparation for the new school year. If you missed this weekend, there are more opportunities to get involved as this community service effort is being held every Saturday in August until the 24th at 10:00 am at the Columbus Primary School.

July 1st kicked off our Reduce, Reuse Recycle Campaign, and we encourage all our members to join in.
RCSEN's Environmental Services Committee is proud to share that last month it helped our members to reuse/recycle over 350 items to avoid them ending up in landfills. Please continue to help us look after our environment!

3RD ANNUAL READING ASSESSMENT & PILOT INTERVENTION
 
On Saturday, August 17, 2024, volunteers are needed for this workshop and the sign up form is below -
 
The Rotary Clubs of Nassau Sunrise, South East Nassau and East Nassau with the Bahamas Literacy Association will hold their 3rd Annual Reading assessment and Pilot Intervention session. "We are excited to announce an opportunity for individuals to participate in the annual Reading Diagnostic Test and Pilot Intervention Program, aimed at advancing our understanding of reading proficiency and literacy development. This is our first literacy partnership event of the year.
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to contribute to this important initiative, which will help The Bahamas Literacy Association assess and improve reading skills within our community. "
 
Volunteer Date: August 17th, 2024
 
Hours: The program is scheduled for 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (The volunteer schedule is below)
 
Place: Marjorie Davis Institute for Special Education (Deveaux Street)
 
There are 2 areas of volunteerism.
 
Food and Beverage - You will be responsible for setting up the food/beverage station, serving, and ensuring that all garbage is disposed)
 
Holding Room - Once the students are completed with their assessment, they will wait in the holding room until lunch. (You will be required to engage the students) An engagement plan is being designed for this room and will be shared with the volunteers shortly.
