Rotary Club of South East Nassau Honored with Top District Award at 2025 District 7020 Conference
The Rotary Club of South East Nassau (RCSEN) proudly emerged as one of the Caribbean’s leading Rotary clubs after receiving the Top Club Award at the 2025 Rotary District 7020 Conference, held recently.
This prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding club performance across District 7020, which spans multiple territories throughout the Caribbean. The award highlights RCSEN’s commitment to service, leadership, innovation, and community impact throughout the 2024–2025 Rotary year.
Under the dynamic leadership of President Ruth, RCSEN distinguished itself through a series of impactful projects that embodied this year’s Rotary theme: "The Magic of Rotary." These included groundbreaking youth initiatives, successful fundraising events, community outreach programs, environmental sustainability projects, and strong inter-club collaborations.
The Board conducted a special session following the unexpected resignation of RI President-elect Mário César Martins de Camargo on 8 June. Based on RI code and policies, the Board selected the new president-elect from a pool of candidates who were considered by the Nominating Committee for President of Rotary International in August 2023.
