Last week our speaker was Membership Director Kent Forbes. His presentation encouraged member participation but also provided information on using the My Rotary website.
In the first part of his presentation Director Kent asked new members to share their experiences. He then asked members who have been in the club at various periods, all the way up to more seasoned members to share their experiences. Kent also shared information on our some of the unique features of our club. RCSEN has also had a president (PP Dr. Bridgette Rolle) that served twice.
After this portion of the presentation Director Kent led a session where he showed members the features of My Rotary and how to use it. An interesting feature that was shown on the site was the Rotary resume which each member has in their My Rotary.
Later that same evening members of RCSEN visited our partner club the Rotaract Club of South East Nassau Centennial where Director Kent took part in a "Fireside Chat" along with PP Lionel Haven, PP Peter Goudie and Director Shakera Rolle.
