The Rotary Clubs of Nassau and South-East Nassau recently hosted a meaningful Peace Symposium at St. James Church on Kemp Road. This event brought together Rotarians, community leaders, and local residents in a collaborative effort to foster peace and understanding within the community. Attendees engaged in thought-provoking discussions on conflict resolution, community building, and the promotion of peaceful initiatives in daily life.
The symposium featured insightful presentations from experts in social work, education, and community relations, each offering practical strategies and inspiring stories of resilience. Participants were encouraged to share their own experiences and perspectives, creating an open and supportive environment. Workshops focused on equipping attendees with the tools needed to address local challenges and work towards a shared vision of peace.
The Peace Symposium aligns with Rotary’s commitment to promoting peace and goodwill, demonstrating the Rotary Clubs of Nassau and South-East Nassau's dedication to positive change. This event not only strengthened the bonds within the Rotary community but also extended a message of hope and unity across Kemp Road and beyond.
