Fifty years of Service Above Self cannot possibly fit into one booklet.
We created this special 50th Anniversary Gala Booklet in digital form to celebrate and preserve the story of the Rotary Club of South East Nassau and the remarkable work our Club has accomplished over the past 50 years. It was launched at our "Celebrating a Golden Legacy of Service 50th Anniversary Gala," held at the Balmoral Club.
What you’ll find is just a glimpse of our history. We hope you enjoy turning the pages and discovering the names and faces of family, friends and fellow Rotarians along the way.

At our last Rotary meeting, we were pleased to welcome Rasjinique Smith, teacher and founding member of the Bahamas Literacy Association, who presented on “Literacy Is Everybody’s Business.” She shared how the Association is measuring programme outcomes and success rates, while also highlighting plans to expand its literacy initiatives into additional Family Islands. Her presentation reinforced the importance of collective responsibility in strengthening literacy across The Bahamas.
The raffle prize was a $50 Amazon giftcard won by Director Raymond.
