At our August 31st meeting we welcomed into membership Jamie, a school teacher at  Queen’s College and Michelle a sales and team leader at BTC.  PP Julien Carey of the RC Eleuthera stopped in to say hello.  PDG Charles spoke to us from an airport about the magic of Rotary.

Ms. Jaime Winter, sponsored by Michaela Bethell-Stuart. Jaime is currently employed at Queen’s College High School as a Science and Biology Teacher and is a graduate of the University of the Bahamas. Jaime has achieved several notable accomplishments in her career. She received an award in April 2024 for helping her students achieve top marks in Biology on the BECSE exam. Additionally, she is a member of the Animal Justice League at Queen’s College and is actively involved in her community through her participation in Central Baptist Church.
 
Ms. Michelle Lewis, sponsored by Azaleta Ishmael-Newry. Michelle is currently employed at the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) as a Service Manager and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. In addition to her degree, Michelle has completed several training programs in Social Media, Project Management, and Sales and Marketing.
