Rotary Club of South East Nassau Celebrates a Year of Elevated Engagement, Meaningful Growth, and Impactful Service — Capped with Recognition of the Highest Order!
The Rotary Club of South East Nassau (RCSEN) proudly closes out a remarkable Rotary year defined by purpose, passion, and perseverance — and the accolades tell the story best!
At the recent District 7020 Conference, RCSEN was honored with Rotary District 7020’s highest distinction — the White Diamond Award 💎, a testament to our club’s unwavering dedication to service, leadership, and innovation. In addition, we were named the recipient of the District Governor’s Most Distinguished Club Award, a prestigious recognition that celebrates overall excellence across all areas of Rotary engagement.
Our commitment to impactful service and strategic focus also earned us placement among the top three performing clubs across four separate months — a proud achievement that culminated in winning the DG Club Challenge Award for the month of September, in celebration of our outstanding efforts in the area of Basic Education and Literacy.
Our club’s Public Image Team also shone brightly, receiving the esteemed Platinum Award, reflecting our efforts to communicate Rotary’s story and amplify the impact of our initiatives throughout the community and beyond.
This phenomenal year was made possible through the dedication of every member, the strength of our partnerships, and the energy we bring to every project, meeting, and outreach initiative.

Rotary Club of South East Nassau Honored with Top District Award at 2025 District 7020 Conference
The Rotary Club of South East Nassau (RCSEN) proudly emerged as one of the Caribbean’s leading Rotary clubs after receiving the Top Club Award at the 2025 Rotary District 7020 Conference, held recently.
This prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding club performance across District 7020, which spans multiple territories throughout the Caribbean. The award highlights RCSEN’s commitment to service, leadership, innovation, and community impact throughout the 2024–2025 Rotary year.
Under the dynamic leadership of President Ruth, RCSEN distinguished itself through a series of impactful projects that embodied this year’s Rotary theme: "The Magic of Rotary." These included groundbreaking youth initiatives, successful fundraising events, community outreach programs, environmental sustainability projects, and strong inter-club collaborations.

This June, President Kent, Past President Ruth, and other members proudly represented the Rotary Club of South East Nassau at the 2025 Rotary International Convention held in Calgary, Canada — a vibrant gathering of Rotarians from across the globe united in service, fellowship, and the pursuit of peace.
The convention was a spectacular display of the organization’s global impact. President Kent and PP Ruth had the opportunity to attend keynote sessions featuring dynamic speakers, engage in inspiring breakout discussions, and connect with fellow Rotarians from every continent — all while showcasing the spirit and accomplishments of RCSEN on the international stage.
