On January 10, 2025, the Rotary Club of South East Nassau (RCSEN) hosted its annual Polar Bear Swim Fundraising Event, marking the first event of the year for the club. The occasion brought together members, supporters, and adventurous tourists for a few hours filled with excitement, camaraderie, and charitable giving.

Held at Jaws Beach, members and guests braved the chilly waters to raise funds to be allocated this year towards club administration to assist with the incoming president and secretary district travel expenses.

This year's event exceeded expectations, both in attendance and funds raised, demonstrating the community's unwavering support for the Rotary mission of "Service Above Self."

Encouraging all our members to start the new Rotary Year by recycling their empty glass/plastic bottles and soda cans. Simply bring them to this week's Club Meeting and your Environmental Services Committee will collect them and take them to be recycled so you don't have to!
